Meeting Minutes
December 2, 2020 6:00 PM
1. Attendees - Emily Goggin-President, Chelsea Scoggin- Treasurer, Casey Jackson-Secretary,
Tiffany Cannon, Victoria Mueller, and Lyndsey Lynch
2. Sports team letters – We will start a rough draft but letters cannot be sent until we receive PTA
ITIN number.
3. PTA status – All Members vote to have PTA named Prairie Heights Elementary PTSA. Casey will
Email Karen Hobson (KarenHobson@copta.org) to get that portion finalized.
4. Box Tops is handled by 5 th grade – Student council. We will email Michele to let her know that
PTA is seeking to put a bin outside of the school for donations – we would also like to get a flyer
out to students and parents. Lyndsey would be okay with putting a bin out at JSHS.
5. Find PHE Families to sponsor for Christmas – Emily will get with Mrs. Konrad.
6. Possibly partnering with JSHS PTA for their community outreach event – PTA can purchase toys
with Walmart Gift Card we received for Fall Festival. Emily will also see if she can have Christmas
trees donated to help with Community Outreach.
7. Letters of positivity for New Years – Children could email their peers letters of Positivity and
wishing a happy new year’s. Virtual post cards can be sent as well.
